iPod Creating and accessing multiple playlists on a Shuffle

Help please. I bought a Shuffle for my sister in law, but having trouble setting up the playlists and accessing them via the shuffle.

can someone tell me simply how i can access and switch between playlists on the shuffle. Google is no help.
