I bought an iPhone 3GS for a friend in another country. I set everything up for him, including an apple ID with an iCloud address. I think the problems started when I connected his phone to my computer that I use with my iPhone. I downloaded music for him from iTunes using my ID.
Now, I cannot change the default ID in his computer back to his from mine in the app store. I did everything I could think of, including going to settings and store, but his iCloud address is listed.
We went to an apple authorized store in the Dominican Republic. They said we have to wait 90 days for the ID to reset. The reason given was that I changed my ID password too many times. I think I changed it twice.
Today, I created a gmail address for him and chose create a new ID in settings. My friend has no credit card There were no options to set up an account without one. However, when I first set up the account with his iCloud address, there was an option for no credit.
