Creating Bootable DVDs

I have a .uif file that I need to burn to a DVD and boot from.
How do I convert this file / make it capable of booting?

does anyone know of any program that can do this?
I have tried using Disk Utility and it does not recognize the ISO format

AFAIK, *.uif is MagicISO's format, and I didn't find any free apps under OSX to burn it. Im not sure about the $$$ apps like toast.

Edit: Toast does NOT support it neither. go find a windows machine maybe if you have to.
