Hello,

I purchased Logic Pro 9 (on discs) and I have yet to buy an external disk drive for my mac mini. Is it possible to create .dmg files from my discs using another mac or even a PC?

That way I could just load the .dmg files directly from an external drive and save the need for an external drive?

Thanks

I used Transmac in the past (windows) when I needed to open a DMG. Since it allows full use for 15 days you could use it without problem to create the DMG.

I had the same issue when I went to use my turbo tax disk. I created an ISO, copied to usb drive and ran software from there. There are some free programs to makes ISO. The ISO image will be an exact copy of the disc and contain the dmg files.
