hi,

pretty new to the obscure mac world ;)

I can't create a folder in a current folder using finder, the folders are created in the root and it is pretty annoying when I just need to move files and re-organize my folders! help would be greatly appreciated!

I would also love to know why I can't Cut and Paste my jpg files to move them, the option Cmd+ X is just not working...

thanks for your help!

Well... Part of your problem could be that the copy command is Cmd + C .... not X ;)

As far as creating folders inside folders I always just hit Shift+Cmd+N to make a new folder relatively quickly.
