I've got a load of DVD's I've converted using Handbrakes :apple:TV setting. Now I want to convert some of these conversions with Handbrake to use on the iPod Touch.
Is it best to just run the :apple:TV version through the iPhone and iPod touch preset, or should I modify the preset?

The reason I ask is that the original conversion converted at 59%, if I then convert this again at 59%, will it multiply the quality reduction? (i.e a copy of a copy)

I'm assuming it should be ok to just use the iPod preset as is, as the :apple:TV conversions look as good as the original DVD to me.

I don't want to use the Apple Universal preset as the files are big and I've only got an 8Gb iPod.

Ta!
