creating labels for a specific extension?

I would like to create a colored label for my doc, docx, and txt file extensions. How can I do it without having to change each individual file? Make sense?

I don't have my Mac with me or I'd try to create a workflow for you. It's pretty easy to use though. Give it a try, you may surprise yourself.
