here's my situation - basically I have two computers, a desktop Windows 7 machine, and a 15" MBP. I like to switch between using both machines at home, as the machines are located in different rooms of the house. It's annoying because sharing files across the two machines become extremely inconvenient.
What is the best way to create a file sharing system? Drop box is out of the question, as most files I deal with are 200 - 500 mbs, so I'm thinking about creating a network drive? Having the PC be the server?
I can't seem to find much information on this even doing googling. Can someone shed some light if they have done this before and what are the steps?
