Hi, I was wondering if this is possible. You know how the applications on mac os are installed as 'packages' with all the hidden files inside one icon...I am trying to figure out if I can do this sort of thing with an offline webpage [for my own viewing]...can i bundle up all the HTML files, fotos, et al and put it under one index.html file...or some such thing? and if so...how?

Thanks,
Christien.

Windows (actually IE for Windows) has a feature that does this (MHTML), but Mac IE lacks this feature, and I don't know of any programs that can do this. If you want to download entire Web sites en masse, use SiteSucker.

If you download the entire website into a folder, you can use Tape to create a single MacOS 9 package or MacOS X 10 bundle. Tape is available here.

hmmm?

Christien.
