Now, I know exactly how this sounds, but here goes.
I rip my dvd's to my external hard drive (1tb), but, obviously, I don't keep it at full quality. However, I have a Rapidshare account (you can imagine what for...), and I recently decided that since I get a ton of upload space, I might as well use some of it, so I'm planning on uploading iso's of the dvd's so that while away from home and my dvd collection, I can download the iso's and watch the video at full dvd quality, if I choose to. I really don't care if you believe the story, and frankly, if I read this post, I wouldn't, but oh well
My problem is, I don't know how to create rar's (much less split rar's)...I'm not technologically inept, but I've only had my mac 7 months or so, and have never had to create a rar on it.
I would appreciate a non-command line freeware solution, but post if you have any answer.
Thanks,
David
Edit: I also have tried SimplyRAR but I can't get it to let the user-defined option to work, and the highest alternative option is 100mb...
