Creating Windows 7 USB in Bootcamp gets stuck

Hi,

I'm running a retina macbook pro and I'm trying to create a windows 7 usb using bootcamp but it keeps getting stuck - if I uncheck the support files it goes farther but it still ends up getting stuck. Does anyone know how I can fix this? I only have this one USB drive to use. It is a PNY 8Gb drive.

Edit: I am running Mountain Lion.

Do you find it getting stuck after waking up the display from sleep? I had problems with bootcamp, then I turned off sleep for display and hard drive and just lowered the brightness all the way and then it finally worked.
