P.S.Macs need to come with mic inputs. BUILT-IN

Most have a line in and a mic built in, and what is wrong with a USB mic? Just a thought.

Have you looked for a driver on http://us.creative.com/support/downloads/ ? If there isn't one, it's quite possible that you won't get that sound card to work..
