One of the guys who has a good track record with predictions is saying the 6 will stick with 1gb RAM. I'm generally not a specs are everything sort of guy, but, ios 7 seems to need every bit of the 1gb the current phone has, often it seems to need a bit more. I can't help but feel it's silly to not bump it up to 2 for the 6.

Anyone hear any credible reports of a bump to 2? Or do you think 1 should be enough? Even if, as reported, it may be a newer, more efficient type of RAM.

Yes, this is all just rumor and speculation, I know that, this is, unless I'm mistaken, a forum with the word rumor in the domain name. :)

Still, I'm curious to hear what people think about the RAM in the next iphone.

Looking back,

3gs -> 4 upgrade from 256 mb to 512 mb
4s -> 5 upgrade from 512 mb to 1 gb
So 5s -> 6 should be 1 gb to 2 gb or maybe 1,5 gb

Slim chance apple not upgrading the internal ram.
