Credit Card Charge Question - I don't think this has been covered...

...I searched and didn't see anything about this specific circumstance.

The question is for those people who know how credit card authorizations work, etc.

I purchased on 6/15 at 8:51 eastern. Status looks good (other than being backordered). I have not seen any credit card charges at all. The available credit hasn't changed...nada. Has AT&T not tried to charge my card yet? Do some types of cards not require authorization?
 
Yes, but that doesn't mean its visible to you or that it had any effect on your credit limit. I wouldn't worry about it one way or the other.
