Hi, so I ordered mine from Apple.com on about 2:00 PM PDT. The status is now "Prepared for shipment". But my credit card is still not being charged. I wonder if this is normal? I never see any activity on my CC website regarding my order (no pending payment, no pre-authorization stuff). My CC is Chase.

mine was charged then put back on my card so i havnt paid anything and it says shipped for mine..

If it is a credit card they'll charge when it ships. The people who have holds are ones who used debit (charged as credit), since it pulls funds directly from their bank account. With a credit card, the company is vouching for that money, thus no hold...and that's why we're in a financial mess
