Hey I was thinking about how crew isn't too big of a sport in some areas, but huge in some. I know in Ohio it was and now that i just recently moved to Florida it is just as competitive/popular. Anyone here a rower or coxswain??

I rowed back in high school and college. Haven't done it in years though. I do miss it. However, clubs are difficult and ontop of that I don't have much time these days. Perhaps I'll pick up a shell eventually.

A family member of mine did. Its kind of a tough spectator sport, but definitely up there in terms of toughness.

Agreed. It can get a bad rep cuz its boring to watch and sounds lame but it really is a very intense sport.
