Just spoke to Cribbs Causeway Store and they advised the following:
- They are opening early on Monday to allow to Pre-Order's - 09:00am
- There wont be a display model to play with
- You can pre-order as soon as you receive the notification email from Apple.com/uk/ipad
- Not known if there will be a per person/credit card limit like in the US
I'm going to pop in on my way home from work on Friday 28th, about 10am. Have they said what time they are opening on the Friday? Hopefully there will be some left by then. I'm still not sure if I am going to get the WiFi or 3G 
Just been into te store. They are expecting a "sizeable" amount. To be sold "first come,first served", doors open at 8am.

))Excellent, I will be getting there at around 05:45 now, so hope the Mall itself has an entrance open early. I know it did for the iPhone 3G launch, got in through the one upstairs by John Lewis at about 06:00.
Spoke to a member of staff at the mall.
The doors open from 05:00 AM
Shop opens at 08:00 AM
The door is the one by the bus stop, upper mall, John Lewis end.
