crocodile in zoo tears arm of vet

this is a german article ("spiegel" is quite reliable so i think it's not fake):

in short: a croc in a taiwanese zoo bit off an arm of a veterinary. he thought it was sedated but it wasn't. they could reattach the arm later. they shot at the croc to get the arm. the croc was not hurt.
there is a freaky pic of the croc with an arm in it's mouth in the article.

i only post this because the arm was reattached, the croc is alive and the story has a happy ending.

the surgeon must have been pretty good to get the arm back on. he must have been a real handy man

that's why i originally posted only the link with a description what you will see.

i'm shocked that people find the story funny enough to make puns all the time. this was a close call! they only got the arm back because another guy shot at the croc twice! lucky for the vet that the guy was armed...ops.....:D

i didn't find any information what the verterinary tried to do. maybe scheduled dental cleaning? i mean he reached quite deep between the teeth.
