Not to be a dick but if that is crooked that is so minimal who in their right mind is going to point that out??

yea...apple needs to up the QC...i had another iPad 2 with a scratch at the top and other issues. Plus this iPad keeps restarting..would they swap that?

NOW if it looked like this.... ahhahaah

minimally crooked.

but consider it a lovable flaw. Something that makes your iPad unique.
don't go all OCD about it.

the rebooting (should it be that severe) on the other hand would be a reason for a return.

yes it has rebooted at least 5 times since I got it on Tuesday. Reeder and Safari gives it the most reboots. Might go to an Apple Store today...

yep and I tried taking screenshots just now and its frozen in the reboot mode. wow this iPad sucks..hopefully my apple store has some more in stock to swap. would I be able to do a full box swap?

just came back from the apple store and got my iPad swapped. Disappointed I couldn't get a full box swap but oh well these replacement iPads are new anyways since the iPad 2 is so new.

What was so weird was that the iPad 2 was listed as $319 on the receipt...strange.

So you were able to find a store that iPad 2's in stock that let you swap it?

I feel for any poor bastard that might have a legit problem, need a replacement, and can't get one because someone couldn't live with a home button that was a millimeter crooked.

yes I was lucky enough that my local apple store had 3 of my model in stock so the swap was set. the "genius" never did an iPad 2 swap so it took long...I think she forgot to erase my data from the old iPad

I wanted to do a full box swap since I just got my iPad on Tuesday, but she said I would have to wait early in the morning to do that...So I just did the stock replacement. The new unit is great, new bleeding, no crashes or rebooting! :D

to my defense, the iPad was constantly crashing/restarting and the genius confirmed it.

It's crooked. If it bothers you that much then return it if not then you got the super special limited edition crooked model. (Just giving you a hard time. Personally, it would bother me)

To each his own.

Your iPad was constantly crashing and restarting... and you started a thread NOT to trouble shoot and ask about THAT problem, but instead you started a thread to ask about your crooked home button??
