Is it possible to use QuickTIme Pro or VisualHub to crop a .dv file without having to encode it into another format first?
Also, I want the video width to be 640 but, for some reason VisualHub sees it as being 720 x 480 so the video is distorted. VisualHub doesn't have an option to preserve aspect ratio so it makes it hard to figure out how to crop it and keep the original aspect ratio at the same time. It will come out distorted unless I knew exactly how to preserve the 640 x 480 resolution and then crop the top and bottom from that starting point. Why is this so hard?
