Cross-platform plain text note-taking app with clickable links? Preferably free

I like Simplenote and I don't need more from a note taking app from a mobile device. The only additional feature that would be nice is clickable links. Any suggestions?

It should sync to at least a web browser.

Did you look at Evernote?

ITs probably the most popular one.

For cross platform notes, there's also Microsoft's OneNote that runs on OSX, windows and iOS
