Hello forum,

is there a way to burn data (not an entire ISO) to a DVD/CD-RO in order to be readable from within macOS and Windows as well?

Thank's for your feedback!

Bill

PS
DVD/CD-RO in the format CDFS for example; cannot be read on macOS... at least on mine :(

ISO 9660 and UDF are both universal formats supported by Windows and macOS. Did you burn the disk correctly? CD-RO is not in the CD format specification. Do you mean CD-R?

Thank's for the feedback DarkPremiumCho and sorry for the long silence.

Yes it's a CD-R :)

In the meatime I copied all "elements" of the CD with Linux Mint to an extfs partition and burned a new CD-R with
xfburn and now it can be read with a Mac and a Windows PC (it was not possible to copy all elements/files of the CD with the Windows file-explorer to hdd).

Thank you for your help!

Bill
