I just ordered extra power supply to my mac pro and i planned to make a crossfire/sli setup with 2 radeon 7970 cards. Is that kind of setup working with OSX at all? I know it will give very much extra speed when i'm using bootcamp windows. Or would it be best solution to sell my radeon 7970 card and buy a GTX Titan from macvidcards? With windows titan is slower very often than 2 7970 cards. Would it be easier to make 2 card configuration with nvidia cards? This will be interesting update when i get it ready :apple::)

While OSX itself won't use two GPUs in games, there are certain professional tools which will use any available cores on your GPUs wherever they are situated.

If you wanted to boost your OSX horsepower for work, the second card may help (although I think most folks would have recommended nVidia cards). If you bought it for gaming then it will only help in Windows.
