hi guys

just came across this application " crossover mac". which enables us not having windows at all to run windows applications and games. im really glad theres such an application. however i have my fear.

1) is this application safe?
2) is this application a third party one?
3) if this application works. will i be able to use it and install microsoft windows office?
4) lastly is it better to use this application or use bootcamp and have windows installed?

anyway i will be using the macbook for school work, like powerpoint, words. and some gaming also, like Age of empire 3,Fifa 08.

thanks alot people=)

It's more geared toward running Microsoft Office and related software plus Steam without Windows in OS X.

I've used it before for Internet Explorer, Office 2003, and Steam to test it out. It's a little buggy at times and Internet Explorer wouldn't install plug-ins but it worked.

I wouldn't suggest it for gaming.

oh wouldnt recommend for gaming?
why?
have u tried game on it?
thanks alot for the infor=)

anyway is the program free? i can only find demo version online.

ohh. have to pay for the application?
haha alright=)

thanks alot Eidorian=)

I tried a wide array of old games that I had and I wasn't able to get them to work.

Your best bet is going to be Boot Camp.
