Crucial 8GB DDR3 PC3-8500 Notebook Memory $74.99

Very good, very reliable memory via Amazon/JR

Macs seem to have trouble downclocking the faster PC3 memory, but the PC3-8500 stuff really seems to work a treat. Very good deal on this; cheaper than Newegg ($50.99 for single 4GB sticks, $121.99 for the 8GB kit).

Free shipping too :)

Hmm, this is getting almost too tempting. I currently have my iMac with 2x2GB +2x1GB and a macbook with 2x1GB. For a mere $80 I could bump the iMac up to 10GB (2x4GB+2x1GB) and the MacBook to 4GB (2x2GB). I think they both would really appreciate the upgrade, especially since I recently purchased Aperture.

It looks like for this to work, you have to choose Amazon as the seller on the right-hand side list. Otherwise, it shows upas being $10 more.

Just picked up 2 sticks for my late 2009 2.26 unibody white MacBook. It currently has 2GB (1x1GB) so this should be a huge improvement. Came out to $59 after the $20 credit I picked up from livingsocial yesterday.

Did not realize the current iMacs had 4 RAM slots! 16 GBs of RAM? For $156?? SO WORTH IT!!! :D

The new 8 GB Crucial deal is better, so post has been edited.

Awesome, I don't think it will have a significant factor on my laptop as I think the i5 processor is probably the week link, but for $75, how could I say no. Thanks for the tip!
