Here's the stuff: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B001MX5YWI/

Okay, so I've checked a few RAM seller's sites, and it seems to line up with what I need. I guess I'm just super paranoid about getting the wrong thing. Also, if it is compatible, will it be as good as the Apple store's memory?

The wiki said to post this sort of thing on the forums, I hope this the right place?

The link does not work.

Also know, that the 2009 iMac can take 16 GB of RAM, but only in four 4 GB sticks and not in 8 GB sticks.

Otherwise, any 204-pin DDR3 SO-DIMM RAM with the correct MHz (1066 or 1333 MHz) will work.

Weird about the link. It seems to work for me. I guess it might be a mobile site issue? Anyway, thank you for the prompt reply.

Ah, the link looks quite short for an Amazon one, thus I assumed it is not working. It works.

Anyway, that RAM will work in your iMac. Even if you bought two kits of it.
