They seem to be out of stock at the moment but there will be more to come. BTW, that is over 200$ less than what the cheapest 256GB SSD costs in NewEgg. M225 is not the best one out there but if you need big capacity, you may want to think about Crucial

when your saying their not the best what do you mean? - I know nothing about SSDs so I wouldn't have a clue what to look for.

It has "only" 250MB/s read and 200MB/s write while SandForce based SSDs have 285MB/s read and write. It also has worse random speeds than what e.g. Intels have. It's definitely not a bad deal but if you're after for the best performance, then it may not be the choice for you.

The 256GB is still showing as $399.99 for me?

That's viewing the US crucial store too..

Damn, I always miss these. I only have a 64GB M225 at the moment, really need 128 or at that price, 256GB :)

They'll all be on ebay in a few days ;D

As Tortri pointed out. Its not a NEW unit but rather a refurb and since its out of stock, who knows when it will return. Besides, I'm not sure how safe buying a refurb SSD is.

a lot of them will be 30 day returns..

I've had mine in 3 previous windoze laptops, a 13" MBP and now my 15" MBP, still showing very little signs of degradation.

these went OOS on wednesday after SDers got their hands on the deal

there were 64GB, 128GB and these 256gb available the other day for $1/GB

Definately. It was front page too. Crucials server's probably died. I know they were crawling during the frenzy.
