Hey guys. Just installed my new 512GB Crucial M4 that I bought from NewEgg. Here's what I did and maybe I can get some input from you all. I CCC my 750GB Seagate Momentus XT to the new SSD. Before I did that I checked the boot time of the XT and it was around 26 seconds. When the CCC finished, I installed and booted up the MacBook and it took nearly 50 SECONDS ! I'm not too sure why it's taking so long. Here's a link to the video. The video is private so you'll have to click on the link:

Hopefully I can get some help with this. Thanks

Nevermind. Solved my own issue.

-Verify and Repair Disk Permissions
-Reset the PRAM

Presto! 14 second boot time!

Check and see if you can turn on Find My Mac in settings, iCloud. I did the same as you on an install of the 256 GB M4 and also used CCC. But I had to do a clean Lion install afterwards from my USB stick in order to turn on Find My Mac.

Just curious.
