Crucial M4 SSD question

Hello, just wondering if you guys have the same issue as my M4 ssd. For example My free space on my drive is 77.39 gb free and when I delete a 3gb video file my drive is still showing 77.39 gb free. Where is the additional 3gb that I deleted? I have trim support enabled, do I have to wait for garbage collection to work? Thank you

Try emptying trash then check again!

I found the problem. Time Machine backups.
