Was looking through the Crucial website for 1GB RAM for AlPbooks and it lists differing compatible modules for the 1.33 15" and 1.67 15"...would anybody know why this would be? Only asking as there is a price difference between the two of US$12, not much sure but noticeable...and I thought that both machines would be able to share the same types of RAM.

For 1.33, it lists module part no. CT368646 (http://www.crucial.com/store/MParts...ok+G4+1.33GHz+(15-inch+Display)&WSPN=CT368646) while for 1.67 it shows CT434058 (http://www.crucial.com/store/MParts...ok+G4+1.67GHz+(15-inch+Display)&WSPN=CT434058), which is the cheaper out of the two.

Thanks in advance for your 2 cents' :)

i wondered this myself when i was looking for upgrades for my 1.25ghz machine - based on other forums and tests i've seen (i'm sorry, i forget the urls) it seems like the later models can take more different brands of ram whereas the older versions had more strigent requirements. can't validate - just based on other people's experiences.

the 1.33 version might be a little more $$ because it has higher requirements for crucials guarantee?
