I'm leaning towards the Crucial because it's cheaper but i hear it has issues. Then again there's a post below me having issues with the ElmCrest drive too. So which is superior?

Ive heard nothing but good things about the C300.

Really, SSDs right now are a crapshoot. Many people have no issues, others have major issues right away. The newer the drive the more reliable its going to be from what I can see.

They are both new but the Intel is newer, the next one coming is the Vertex 3 series.

I've run a C300 with original firmware in my MBP for just under one year with no issues at all.

I would wait a week or two though and buy an OCZ Vertex 3.

I installed the Intel 510 SSD in my 2011 13" MBP this morning and it seems to work perfectly. Here is my post about the install. In the same thread you will see a user with a C300 also and it is working fine for him.
