Hi all,

Just thought I'd give back a little since macrumors has been so useful to me in the past for these kinds of things.

I've been umming and aah-ing for the last little while about them best way to carry around my ipad while I'm out with my camera. I recently went to a m4/3 system and in keeping with getting smaller, also got the new retina ipad mini. Naturally, with my buying spree I also needed a new bag.

This Crumpler one was the only one that really stood out for me. I've had some crumpler stuff in the past and the build quality was excellent.

Ease of Use
Not much to say here, its a standard sling bag. The tightening straps are a little counterintuitive but once you get the hang of them, its not too bad. There's a quick release clasp as well in the event I need to rapidly pull off my sling because I'm being chase by a lion or something...but otherwise I just slide the sling to the front and pull my camera out.

Looks
It's Crumpler. If you don't like their style, I'm not going to convince you of it. I preferred the green to the orange and the blue. The inside of the green has nice blue inserts/dividers

Size
Nice and compact yet still managed to fit all my gear. I've got:
  • Olympus E-PL5 with 20mm Panasonic f/1.7 pancake attached
  • Olympus Zuiko 12-24mm (kit lens)
  • Crumpler noose strap on camera
  • Lens pen
  • Lens hood (3rd party)
  • Hand sanitizer...because sometimes I get gross
  • Pen
  • Spare USB battery for iPhone - because battery life sucks
  • Two spare SD cards
  • Two spare Olympus batteries
  • Stock detachable flash for E-PL series
As you can see I've got a fair amount of stuff. There is definitely more space for another small lens but I dont have it at the moment. The dividers are nice to space things out a bit.

Durability
I haven't fully tested this out yet but I plan to over the next little while. It feels solid and like I said, Crumpler stuff has been good to me in the past. The small doesn't come with a rain cover (despite it saying so on the website as of this post). The guy in the shop assured me that it was just a mistake and that Crumpler material is generally quite water resistant anyways. I guess an Indian monsoon will have to be the test of that.

Pros
- Looks good
- Lightweight
- Compact
- Durable

Cons
-Pockets can be a bit tight when trying to fit stuff in, but they get in there eventually
- No raincover
- Can't fit charger as well, but two spare batteries should be plenty

Anyways hopefully this was useful to you all. Any further questions fire away. I'm very happy with it! Sorry about some of the pics, I was shooting with my iPhone for ease and it gets that purple flare sometimes
