I just downloaded Crystal Clear, SetAlphaValue...whatever it is, installed it and restarted my computer. It is nowhere on my computer as an application, the only thing there is the disk image to install it. I have installed it a few times and restarted each time. What can I do/why is it not installed as an application?

OK ~ you probably haven't installed it or your modern OS doesn't know what to do with it..
If you are not sure how to install an app:
Double click the disk image, Drag the application inside the disk image to the Applications folder in finder. Eject or Drag the disk image to the trash.
If there is also a readme inside the disk image ~ read it :)

Have just taken a closer look at the application.
One it does nothing
Two it is written for Panther OSX 10.3 which came out in 2003..
