I have recently had to return a faulty Sony Vaio. The great thing about the Sony was the screen. The X-Black screen is about the best that I have ever seen on a laptop or desktop.
I'm considering getting a PowerBook as a replacement, but have been put off by the low resolution screens, poor performance, and lack of X-Black style coating.
If Apple release a PowerBook HD soon that will fix the low resolution issue, I guess that I can live with lower performance, but I was wondering if this Crystal Film would make the screen look as good as the Sony X-Black screens.
Can anyone comment on a PowerBook with Crystal Film (or similar product) and how it compares to an X-Black screen?
