CS Student - get MBA or wait for possible 12inch retina?

Hello there!

im about to get a i7/8g/256 (or ultimate) MBA - since im a student i wont do heavy stuff on it and i dont really play games nowdays. however in that budget i can get a retina 13'', or even wait till they get the haswell update.

things that bother me:
-problems with retina displays - are they still here ? i dont want to play the roulette and get 'shadowing' burns on the screen
-they are still third generation, no haswell yet


what would you guys suggest? thank you!

If you're waiting for the Haswell update for the MBPs, they should receive them on 10/22, when Apple does their next presentation.
