hello out there, knew to this site, thought would be gd place to ask Q's.
I can buy (as a student) cs2 at an educational rate that is v.tempting, but what I want to nkow is it a full version, and are there any limitations to it?:)

It is a full version. However, I believe in the license agreement they disallow you using the software for profit. I can't remember as I haven't read it in a long time. Also, I don't think you are eligible for upgrade pricing when cs3 comes out.

I'm pretty sure there was a discussion about this recently, and as far as CS2 is concerned, you can use it however you want to.

Yes, the Education version is the same as the normal version. Indeed, I don't think it's eligible for upgrades.

I thought I had seen that but it would be unenforceable. I'm not sure if it actually says it, I just seem to recall that it did. So I'm not a reliable witness.
