CS3 and Epson 2200 printing to dark

O.K. I tried all I know. I have Guttenprint driver and follow all the instruction video helpers and still the same result...too dark.I Now I have the same pictures printed on an another Epson printer at a friends place and ..no problems. we can't figure it out. All I can think is the problem is between the sofware and the printer...somebody is not talking to the other in the same language I hope somebody out there can, I sure would appreciate it. Louis
