What would you choose to use with your new MBP? Am trying to decide for myself. Any recommendations are appreciated!!!
 
It completely depends on what kind of processing you do to your photos. If you just like to adjust a bit of brightness, contrast, etc. then go with Elements. It sounds, since you are undecided, as if you are new to digital photography. If that's the case, you might try Elements first. Then, if you find you outgrow that program, you can graduate to CS3.
 
If you're just doing little photo alterations, brightness, contrast, color correction, etc go with elements. IMHO I would just spend the money on CS3. They're are much more possibilities with CS3.
 
I'd skip Elements entirely. If you need something with the power of CS3, then CS3 is what you need. If, however, you really don't need anything that powerful, then take a look at Pixelmator or even the Gimp....
