D/loaded Lion, it started to boot, got a message saying you require CS4 update now or later, I selected later and now froze with original desktop with software update on menu bar. Mouse move bit won't select anything. Any suggestions most welcome. Thanks

Same issue here. Installed Lion on a White MacBook late 2007 model. Everything seemed to work fine, it took about an hour to complete the install. Login screen came up. I logged in fine. The Desktop showed up with all my icons, but as soon as the top menu bar finished loading, that was the last movement I saw other than the mouse. The cursor moves around fine but can't select anything. Keyboard won't select anything. It reminds me of the age old prank of taking a screen shot of someone's desktop and then setting it as their background and removing all the icons. I see it all, but can't click anything. Clock doesn't update, nothing...
