CS5.5 Illustrator does not start

CS5.5 Illustrator does not start under one of the accounts on a OS X 10.5 mac.
Photoshop and Indesign do start.
And Illustrator does start when logged in under another account.
So the reason should be the account (settings) and not CS5.5 Illustrator itself.
When starting Illustrator I only get the message "can not complete the instruction".

Anyone any idea ?

Illustrator is indeed weird sometimes. I would try with a clean reinstall.
