CS5... leopard or snow leopard?

I'm going to re-install mac osx on my computer before I try out cs5 (trial before i buy), do you think it would run better on leopard or snow leopard?

on leopard it gives me issues with spaces (grey picture)
and on snow leopard it gave me errors left and right along with a conniption of saving issues
