I've found that merely connecting a Cubase USB-eLicenser to a
2008 Mac Pro causes it to boot very slowly (usually) or not at
all (more rarely). There is a lengthy pause at the initial firmware
white screen.
In one test, the times to boot into Windows 7 from power on
were:
23.35 seconds (No USB key attached)
54.98 seconds (Steinberg key attached)
Has anyone else experienced similar behaviour?
I'm in the process of trying to return Cubase because of this.
Do you think that's a good idea? What would you recommend?
Thanks in advance!
