I was watching a YouTube channel were the Horologist repairs antique pendulum clocks. It is fascinating watching him bring 150+ year old clocks back into working order. He uses an App called "Cuckoo Clock Calibration" to adjust them. This app works with all mechanical pendulum clocks. It uses the mic on your iPhone to listen to the Tick-Tock of the escapement. It measures the time between and gives you a Reference period and beats consistency. There are adjustment on the counter weight to tweak this. He had a 30 hour Seth Thomas clock made around 1865 after restoring the movement accurate to 6 seconds a day. Such clocks have no second hand so 6 seconds between winding is unnoticeable.
