Any confirmed reports on this working with windows xp or anything.

Looking for any advice and such for getting a dev environment setup,

thanks

If you run Windows XP through Boot Camp it runs natively - so any cracks, hacks you use will work perfectly fine, aswell as CUDA.

Never heard of that, but it sounds good :)

And yes, Bootcamp will be fine for using this.

As long as it doesn't modify the GPU, and MacOS stops recognising it. That'd be a bugger

Im just looking for a confirmed report that someone out there has developed something with Nvidia's Cuda and had it work successfully on the Nvidia 8600m gt.

Maybe im the first, highly unlikely. I have one large project to finish up this month, so starting sept-dec '07 i will be making a large project in Cuda on the book.

Very excited! These new books are cake!

You've probably already found out on your own but...
Yes, I've compiled and run several of the CUDA samples on my MacBook Pro in Boot Camp.
Works wonderfully. Quite impressive.
I've heard CUDA is coming out for OSX soon. I wonder if it ever did?
