My friend has an '07 BlackBook. I think it's a 2.16 GHz Core 2 Duo system with 2 GB of RAM, but since it's not in front of me, I can't be sure.

He is studying to be a commercial pilot and needs to run this test prep software. Tonight we installed a trial version of Fusion 2 coupled with Windows XP Home and updated to Service Pack 2 so he wouldn't have to use a PC to run this one piece of software.

However, the application won't launch. We're left with a Windows error message, and no program. This happens no matter if the application is stored on the Mac side or the Windows side.

The same copy of the application launches fine on another Windows XP Home system and one running Windows XP MCE 2005.

Since our XP install on the Blackbook is just a regular Windows install, why is this application not launching? Any ideas?
