Curently reinstalling 10.6.3... Problems

I have a 2010 Mac Mini hooked up as a HTPC hooked up via HDMI to my TV. Currently the 10.6.3 install disc is (I think) installing. During the install i switched the input to catch up on some TV. The problem now is when i switch the TV back to HDMI it says "no signal" so I can't see what's going on. It's now been about an hour since I started the reinstall and the Mac Mini hasn't reacted in any way (like rebooting) to indicate the install is done. What should I do?

*edit* i read about some Mac Mini HDMI connectivity issues requiring reboot after switching TV inputs.
