Is is possible to charge the new Apple Pencil off the iPad? The issue I have is the desk stand I am using, and I rather like it , covers the area were the Pencil magnetically attaches for charging. I have several MagSafe chargers can they properly do the job or am I going to need a new stand?

It charges by attaching to the iPad.
I knew that, of course, but I was wondering if I could recharge is using one of My magSafe chargers, which, it turns out I can't so the iPad desk stand I am using is not going to work unless I take the iPad out of it. I might not be that big an issue. The Apple Pencil went from a 8% to 100% charge in about 30 minutes.

So randomly found this while looking for a new carry bag.

no clue if any good but might be your solution…..
it says gen 2 pencil. So you may want to see if they or another are doing a pro version.

As the statement reads:
The magnetic charging box is compatible with Apple pencil 2nd gen only ,not fits for the Apple pencil 1st and USB-C version and any other third party pencils , eliminates the need to worry about draining your iPad battery.
