Been wondering this for a while. On all other macs that I have tried (Powerbook G4, eMac), when I connect my Lacie d2 firewire hard drive or DVD burner, the activity lights turn OFF when the computer goes to sleep, as they should do, and wake up properly along with the computer. But on my Mini, they stay ON when the computer sleeps (although the drives do spin down). It's annoying because the lights are very bright. I'm considering cracking open the cases to disconnect the LEDs.

Can anyone else confirm this? My Mini is a Rev A G4 1.25 GHz.

Still does this on my MacMini, I run it off a LaCie Mini HD. Why don't you just put a tiny piece of Blue Tack over it?

Still does this... you mean it turns off or stays on?? ;)

Yeah I did have a little headphone foam cover over it, which was quite good cos it meant I could still see the light to some degree, but it keeps falling off...
