Just got an iPod a month ago, and I notice that if I use siri and say:

"Remind me to do blah on Monday at 6 am", it creates the reminder and schedules it to actually remind me. However, if I type in Reminders "Call the bank on monday", it doesn't actually schedule the reminder to remind me. It creates the reminder but it doesn't schedule anything. I have to click the reminder and manually set the "remind me on a day" field.

MAybe I am missing something, but shouldn't the Reminder app be smart enough to know that when I type "remind me to eat my head at 1pm on Friday", it should schedule the reminder to actually remind me?

That makes sense considering the name of the app -- Reminders -- however, at least in my experience, it functions more as a lists app that offers the option to be reminded of a particular item rather than a reminders-only app. Thinking of it that way, I'd say it's working correctly since the text you type is just that, text, whereas the words you speak to Siri are more like commands.
