Hi all,
I found that there is a considerable disparity between Google and my Mac's Spotlight when it comes to currency conversion. Empirical data:
2010 GMT, 27 December 2017
Google: 500 GBP = 669.77 USD
Mac: 500 GBP = 672.62 USD
I used XE.com as an independent source.
XE.com: 500 GBP = 669.802 USD
Clear to see that XE.com and Google are on the same page, at least. Their differences are likely due to minute differences in data feed lag.
But why is my Mac so far from the other two? Can I set my Mac to use data from Google or XE.com?
Thank you!
